What a text QR code is for

The text is stored inside the code, so it works offline: labels with serial numbers, short instructions on equipment, a hidden message on a card, or a code for a treasure hunt.

Tips

• Keep it short. Long text makes a dense code that is harder to scan.
• Need a link? Use the URL type instead, so the phone opens it directly.
